What Determines Courier Delivery Cost

Courier pricing follows the work a route requires, not a flat rate per city.

  • Route Distance and Drive Time

Two deliveries of the same mileage can take very different amounts of time. Traffic, bridges, and tolls between the two addresses count as much as the distance.

  • Number of Stops

One pickup and one drop-off is the simplest job. Each extra receiver adds driving, a handoff, and some waiting.

  • Vehicle Size

An SUV, a minivan, and a cargo van cost different amounts to run, so the load decides the vehicle and the vehicle affects the price.

  • How Soon You Need It

A pickup in the next hour is harder to fit into a courier’s day than one booked for tomorrow morning.

  • Handling and Waiting

Fragile items, building check-in, loading docks, and slow signatures all keep the courier on the clock.

  • How Often You Deliver

A single delivery is priced by itself. A weekly schedule is planned as a route, around your volume and timing.

How the Estimate Works

From two addresses to a price range in four steps.

  • 1. Enter Two Addresses

Pick the pickup and the dropoff from the suggestions. The route appears on the map with its mileage and drive time.

  • 2. Describe the Job

Tell us how many stops you usually have, which vehicle fits the load, and how often you send deliveries.

  • 3. Get Your Price Range

You see a low and a high figure for that route and that kind of delivery.

  • 4. Lock It In

Go over the range with our team to fix the exact price, or to turn the route into a standing schedule.

Courier Cost Questions

How much does a courier delivery cost?

It depends on the driving route between pickup and dropoff, the number of stops, the vehicle the load needs, how urgently the pickup is required, and how often you deliver. Entering your two addresses above is the fastest way to see a range for your route.

Is the calculator price a final quote?

No. The calculator shows a range. The exact price is set after the team confirms the route and what the delivery involves.

How is a multi-stop delivery priced?

A multi-stop route is priced as one route, not as separate deliveries. Each additional stop adds driving, handoff, and waiting time, so both the stop count and the order of the destinations matter.

Is same-day courier delivery more expensive than booking ahead?

A same-day pickup and a route reserved in advance are different jobs to fit into a courier’s day, so they are not priced identically. If your delivery can be scheduled ahead, say so when you review your estimate.

Do recurring routes get different pricing?

Yes. Recurring routes are planned around your frequency, stop count, and volume instead of being quoted one delivery at a time. Select your delivery frequency in the calculator to start that conversation.

Which vehicle should I choose?

Choose the smallest vehicle that fits the load: an SUV for smaller orders, a minivan for bulkier loads, and a cargo van for wholesale volume or tall items. Paying for more space than the delivery needs raises the estimate without adding value.
