YOUR COURIERS
Choose the Couriers Who Handle Your Deliveries
A different courier on every run means explaining your pickup routine all over again. Score each delivery, keep the couriers you like on a preferred list, and remove the ones you do not, so your orders go to people who already know your pickup routine and your customers.
Score Each Delivery
Leave a rating after every drop-off. Your ratings decide who is offered your work next.
Keep a Preferred List
Couriers on your list see your pickups before anyone else, so familiar faces keep showing up.
Block a Courier
Remove a courier who is not a fit, and they are not offered your deliveries again.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
What to Know Before Booking a Courier in NYC
New York has its own delivery rules. These six affect what an NYC courier run costs, how long it takes, and whether the driver gets past the lobby.
The Congestion Relief Zone
A vehicle entering Manhattan at or below 60th Street pays a congestion toll, and the rate depends on the vehicle class and the time of day. Routes into the zone cost more than the same mileage elsewhere in the city.
Parkways Are Closed to Commercial Vans
Commercial vehicles are barred from the city’s parkways, including the FDR Drive and the Belt Parkway, and from the Brooklyn Bridge. A cargo van follows streets and expressways that permit it, which is often not the shortest line on the map.
Certificates of Insurance
Many Manhattan office buildings will not let a courier use the freight entrance until a certificate of insurance naming the building is on file. Share the building’s requirements when you request pricing so the paperwork is sorted before delivery day.
Freight Elevator Hours
Larger buildings limit deliveries to the freight elevator, usually during set weekday hours and sometimes by reservation. A delivery that arrives outside the window can be refused at the dock.
Curb Space and Loading Zones
Where a courier can legally stop changes block by block and hour by hour. Pickup and drop-off times are planned around posted loading rules, because a ticket can cost more than the delivery.
Free and Tolled Crossings
The Queensboro, Williamsburg, and Manhattan bridges over the East River are toll-free, while the Queens-Midtown and Hugh L. Carey tunnels, the RFK and Verrazzano-Narrows bridges, and the Hudson River crossings charge a toll. The crossing a route uses changes its price.

NYC COURIER FAQ
NYC Courier Service FAQ
How much does a courier service cost in NYC?
There is no flat citywide rate. Price follows the driving route, the crossings and tolls on it, the number of stops, the vehicle your load needs, and how soon you need the pickup. Enter your pickup and dropoff addresses to see an estimate for your route.
Is same-day courier service available in New York City?
Yes. Same-day courier delivery is available for business deliveries in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
Which parts of NYC do couriers cover?
All five boroughs, plus Jersey City across the Hudson. Routes can start in one borough and end in another, and a single courier can cover stops in several boroughs on one run.
Does congestion pricing change the cost of a Manhattan delivery?
Yes. A vehicle entering Manhattan at or below 60th Street pays the Congestion Relief Zone toll, so a delivery into that zone costs more than a run of the same distance outside it.
Can a courier deliver to a building that requires a certificate of insurance?
Yes, when it is arranged ahead of time. Many Manhattan office buildings ask for a certificate of insurance before a courier can use the freight entrance, so share the building’s requirements when you request pricing.
Can one courier make several stops in NYC?
Yes. A multi-stop route sends one courier to several receivers in a planned order. List every address and any delivery windows when you request your estimate.
Can I get the same courier for my regular NYC deliveries?
You can rate each courier and add the ones you like to a preferred list. Preferred couriers are offered your pickups first, so the same people tend to handle your recurring routes.
What vehicles do NYC couriers use?
SUVs, minivans, and cargo vans. Choose the smallest vehicle that fits the load, since vehicle size affects the price.
