FOOD & BEVERAGE COURIERS
Getting Product From the Kitchen to the Shelf
A small food or beverage brand moves product constantly: from a shared kitchen to storage, from storage to a grocery account, from the roastery to twenty cafes, and to a market stall on Saturday.
These trips are too short and too frequent for a freight carrier and too heavy for the founder’s car. A local courier with the right vehicle handles them one at a time or as a weekly route.
- Packaged foods and snacks by the case
- Coffee, tea, and bottled drinks
- Sauces, preserves, and specialty goods
- Event, sampling, and market stock
WHAT FOOD DELIVERY DEMANDS
What Makes Food and Beverage Delivery Hard
Product is heavy, sometimes fragile, and often needed on short notice. These six points shape the delivery.
Production and Storage Are in Different Places
Many brands cook in a shared kitchen and store somewhere else. Every production day ends with a transfer.
Liquids Are Heavy
Forty cases of bottled drinks weigh several hundred pounds. The vehicle has to be able to carry it, and the courier has to be ready to move it.
Glass Breaks
Bottles and jars need to ride low, packed tight, and upright. One loose case can ruin the load under it.
Retail Accounts Set the Terms
Grocers and cafes give a delivery day and a receiving window. Showing up outside it puts the shelf space at risk.
Demand Is Lumpy
A new store launch, a festival, or a promotion can double a week’s volume. Next week goes back to normal.
Shelf Life Varies
Fresh juice has days and granola has months. Short-dated product needs to be delivered the day it is made or the day after.

FAQ
Food and Beverage Courier Service FAQ
What is a food courier service?
It is a local delivery service that moves food and beverage products between businesses: from kitchens to storage, and from brands to the shops, cafes, and restaurants that sell them.
How much does food and beverage delivery cost?
The price depends on the route, the number of stops, the vehicle, and the timing. Heavier loads need a larger vehicle. Enter two addresses in the calculator to see a range.
Are the vehicles refrigerated?
We do not run refrigerated vans. Temperature-controlled delivery options are available for product that has to stay cold, so include the temperature it needs to hold when you ask for a price.
How much weight can a courier take?
A cargo van carries a full load of cases. For palletized freight that needs a forklift or liftgate, use a freight carrier instead.
Can couriers deliver to grocery stores?
Yes. Include the store’s receiving hours, the door to use, and any vendor or purchase order number the receiver will ask for.
Can I book a food delivery for today?
Yes. Same-day pickups are available, and regular transfers and routes can be scheduled ahead.
Can product deliveries repeat on a schedule?
Yes. Set a weekly or daily route for your accounts or your production-day transfers, and change the stops as accounts are added.
Can I keep the couriers who know my accounts?
Yes. Rate each delivery and keep the best couriers on a preferred list. They see your pickups first.
